Volunteerism-Why is it Important?*

*Exerpt From the CGS Parent Handbook

One of the most obvious differences between Clover Garden and other public schools is the request that families provide 4 hours of volunteer time per month to the school.  Clover Garden is truly a family focused school, and everyone benefits if the entire family is involved in the child's education.   Every hour spent helping out in the classroom or office, cleaning or weeding, working a book fair, or manning a concession stand is like earning money for our school.

Volunteering for Individual Teachers

If you would rather volunteer just for your child's teacher, please email that teacher individually.  Be aware that many of the teachers welcome any-and-all volunteers (not just their class parents), BUT, please give them notice ahead of time.  It is usually not possible for them to pull together something at the last minute.
